William Aitken and Elizabeth Greer had the following children:

2 i. Euphemia² Aitken was born Ayr c1867. She married Daniel McLaren Penman No 122 Craighall Road, Glasgow, 14th September 1888. Daniel was born 95 Graham's Rd, Larbert, Falkirk 18th January 1868. Daniel was the son of James Penman and Elizabeth McLaren. Daniel died 28th April 1961 Glasgow, at 93 years of age. (See Daniel McLaren Penman for the continuation of this line.)

3 ii. Margaret Aitken was born Ayr c1869.
