2. John² Patterson (John¹) was born Newcastle on Tyne, Northumberland 1824. John died 27th June 1895 Cambridge, at 70 years of age. His body was interred 29th June 1895 Mill Road Cemetery, Cambridge.

He married Jane Willis Old Church, St. Pancras, London, 26th January 1852. Jane was born Duxford c1830?. Jane was the daughter of Thomas Willis and Sarah Haycock. Jane died 1914? Edmonton, Middx?, at 84 years of age.

John Patterson and Jane Willis had the following children:

+ 3 i. John Thomas³ Patterson was born Dec 1852.

+ 4 ii. Edward T Patterson was born c 1853.

+ 5 iii. James E Patterson was born c1857.
