1. Thomas¹ Slaney was born Blidworth, Notts c1845.

He married Miriam Barton Derbyshire, March 1871. Miriam was born Duffield, Derbyshire September 1849.

Thomas Slaney and Miriam Barton had the following children:

2 i. Alice M² Slaney was born Ripley, Derbyshire c1872.

3 ii. John Thomas Slaney was born Kimberley, Notts c1874.

4 iii. Miriam Slaney was born Kimberley, Nottinghamshire December 1876. Miriam died 1956 at 79 years of age. She married Thomas Davis Paddington, Dec 1935. Thomas was born No 10 Ranelagh Grove, Belgrave, Middx 10th March 1876. Thomas was the son of odamjohn and Anne Sophia Rosseter. Thomas died 4th May 1949 St Thomas Hospital, Hambledon, at 73 years of age. His body was interred 8th May 1949 St James, Elstead, Surrey.

5 iv. Arthur Slaney was born Kimberley, Notts c1879.

6 v. George Slaney was born Kimberley, Notts c1881.
