76. James William⁶ Townsend (James Edward Stone⁵, James Davis⁴, Henry³, John², Thomas¹) was born Birch, Essex 3rd December 1870.

He married Frances Marion Catlin Battersea St Mary, 15th April 1895. Frances was born Michigan USA c1873. Frances was the daughter of Sage Augustus Catlin.

James William Townsend and Frances Marion Catlin had the following children:

111 i. James John⁷ Townsend was born Clapham c1897.

112 ii. Elmer Henry Townsend was born Clapham March 1898. He married Alma Pablo? St Stephen's Wandsworth, 28th July 1920. Alma is the daughter of Antonio Pablo.

113 iii. Mabel Amy Townsend was born Clapham c1900.

114 iv. Catherine Jane Townsend was born Wandsworth 1902.

115 v. Harold Arthur Townsend was born Wandsworth 1904.

116 vi. Edward William Townsend was born Wandsworth 1908.
